94DR combines excellent service with innovative design in a laid back atmosphere. Our idea was to create a small friendly place with a big personality... a vision which comes from lots of experiences and cues; it's things we'd enjoy and relish, with the service we'd like to receive - we hope you'll feel the same. Quality, humour, sincerity, and relaxation are our watchwords.

We, is us... Paul Lightfoot and John MacEwan. Our friends call us Hog's (high octane gay's) and if that means a loaded zest, a passion for fun, an exuberance for life and a love of good things, then that's us. Scots at home, we come from marketing and hospitality backgrounds, lived away and travelled a lot. 94DR is now our main home (...Molli's too, our black labradoodle) and, we hope, your's during your stay.

94DR is a Victorian townhouse in central Edinburgh with 6 3/4 luxury rooms, all with spacious en-suites featuring power showers and/or roll top baths, underfloor heating and toiletries by The White Company. We provide comfy beds, crisp white bed linen, down duvets and pillows, hairdryers, WiFi, mineral water and coffee/tea making facilities. All rooms have HD plasma screens... DVDs and CDs are available from reception for your viewing and listening pleasure.

Your stay also includes full gourmet breakfast (Paul is a trained chef and creates a daily changing breakfast menu using the finest and freshest local ingredients) together with use of our laidback lounge and breakfast room. By law 94DR is a smoke free environment. We have just three private parking spaces, but there is plenty of free parking in nearby roads.
